Stuff sorority girls like #12: Theme Parties.

Caution tape? Check.
Shiny hot pink skirt? Check.
Tennis outfit? Check.

Where else but in the sratty world can you expect to wear all of these things at some point? Sorority girls love to dress up, and, most of all, we love to do it at theme parties.

There's a million themes to choose from, seasonal and otherwise: Toga, Golf Pros and Tennis Hoes, ABC (anything but clothes), Bright N Tight, Retro Prom, Grafitti, and Tacky Christmas Sweater, just to name a few. The best part about theme parties is the rush beforehand, trying to get together that perfect outfit, and pulling it off at the last minute. Plus, the chances of looking stupid are minimal, considering everyone else is going to look ridiculous as well.

Keep it classy and fabulous!

Start with the classics.

So lately I've been very caught up in the sorority girl lifestyle. It is frat's counterpart, also known as "srat."

I've been mediating a lot on the sorority girl look, and I've come to the conclusion that there are a few things every sorority girl needs in her wardrobe (mind you, this is not a definitive list, but rather, a guideline:

Pearl studs
Pearl necklace
David Yurman anything (preferably from the Albion or Color Classics collections)
Hanes white v-necks
Fraternity or sorority t-shirts (preferably with a pocket)
Nike Tempo running shorts
New Balance tennis shoes (girls, rock your 442s)
Monogrammed Longchamp bag (The Le Pliage tote)
Ray-Ban wayfarers or aviators
Lilly Pulitzer dresses
Jack Rogers sandals
Game day dresses (in your school's colors--for USC it's black OR the PERFECT shade of garnet. Don't wear red or that awkward purple-y color...we'll know you're a newbie.)
Cowboy boots
Black leggings
Uggs
Patagonia or Mountain Hardwear jacket (North Face is a classic, obviously, but it's becoming a little too mainstream.)

Obviously, this only covers the very bare bones of the sratty wardrobe. However, if you want to really srat hard, look out for a 2nd post and read more!

Keep it classy and fabulous!

Apology.

Hey guys!
So I know approximately 2 people read this blog, but I just wanted to apologize for not writing in a while. I haven't felt particularly opinionated lately, and I've been trying not to post things about my tumultuous life on the internet because that tends to get me in trouble.

There's nothing I have to say that's of any particular importance.

Keep it classy and fabulous!
