Did you ever see that Disney Channel movie Johnny Tsunami?

Not all of the horrible sequels that came after it, but the original movie, made in 1999. I remember watching it when I was a kid, and lately, a line from it has been intruding into every inch of my life..."Go big or go home."

In the movie, the snowboarders use it as a challenge to Johnny, but it's got me thinking--if you're going to half-ass something, why do it at all? Isn't that what life is all about--doing it up big, living hard? It reminds me of something my friend Ben says..."Don't talk about it, be about it."

I don't really know where this is going, but it's just something to contemplate.
