A new perspective: He's just not that into me.

So today, I was at the Strom, enjoying the view from the 3rd-floor cardio deck (which happens to look down onto the 2nd-floor weight room--hello, boys), when I got on the treadmill, as is my custom. When I turned on the television, "He's Just Not That Into You" was on HBO. I only got to watch for about 15 minutes (I had to go to yoga), but I was reminded of something that I tend to forget...

If he's not calling you...
If he's not asking you out...
If he's not dating you...

Then he's just not that into you.

Now, bear in mind that I have been dealing with several boys, currently. And today I'd just about had enough.

The cocky fratty would not text me back. And he certainly has not made an effort to ask me out since last weekend, when he was all about it.

My dreamboy keeps conveniently forgetting to call me back. And his phone conveniently keeps dying. And he conveniently hates the city in which I live. And he's conveniently flying across the country soon.

And the rest won't call, won't text, won't contact.

It really is true: if a guy likes you, he will make an effort to get in touch with you. He will ask you out, he will call when he says he will, he will text, whatever. Guys will go to the ends of the earth for girls, mostly because they like to get what they want.

So now, I have to take steps to chill out. Starting with curbing my compulsive texting habit.

Keep it classy and fabulous!
xoxo, Laura
